About Women Export University
The Women Export University is a capacity-building program that will equip entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and resources to become globally competitive and increase the participation of women-owned businesses in international trade. The Women Export University curriculum includes virtual workshops, one-on-one consultations, insights, and training on export strategies, tools, and resources to enter new markets, insights on how to build an export-friendly digital presence, and guidance on package flows and preparing export shipments.
The Women Export University is a partnership between the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of International Affairs and UPS that aims to increase the participation of women-owned businesses in exporting and create more opportunities for women entrepreneurs to achieve economic equality.
This program is fully-funded and requires no cost to participate.
Sessions will begin in January 2021 and end in April 2021.

Requirements:
- Women-Led: At least 30% owned, managed, and controlled by woma(e)n
- Based in Metro Atlanta: Legally registered and incorporated company in Metro Atlanta
- Business Plan: Have a clear strategic business plan
- Selling Products or Services: Currently selling products or services in the United States
- Website Functionality: Have a functioning website to promote services and products
- Time Commitment: Ability to commit 4 hours per month to the program
